I am excited to host our very first YSP (Young Single Professionals) event at Roux Louisianna Kitchen. Elaborate feathered masks and gilded capes covering walls, strings of beads hanging around waiters' necks, and rum laced Hurricane's served in outsized goblets: Roux Louisiana Kitchen declares its enthusiasm fo all things New Orleans from the moment you walk through the door.
We will meet in the bar area near the elliptical, copper topped bar below a massive illuminated ceiling sculpture.

Our picnic dinner includes domestic & imported cheeses and meats, fresh grapes, pasta and chicken salad, rolls and foccacia and freshly baked homemade cookies.
Although this is not a wine tasting event, you are welcome to purchase both wines* by the glass or a bottle to share and/or bottled beers at the outdoor wine bar.

Enoteca La Storia, in downtown Los Gatos, is the new hot wine bar in the South Bay. Although they offer many local and domestic wines, their focus is on International wines from Italy, Spain, France, Germany and the Southern Hemisphere. And they have painstakingly selected these wines and import them from all of these regions. Their food menu can be described as part high end Italian delicatessen and part Caffé.

We have done our best to find a restaurant and menu that is worthy of a holiday dinner but also considers the current economy. We truly hope you will be able to join us!
Join us at downtown San Jose's beautiful Il Fornaio restaurant located in the 1920's boutique Saint Claire Hotel. Il Fornaio has been repeatedly recognized for its authentic Italian cuisine with delightful presentations, generous portions and wonderful service & ambiance. Although the restaurant is large and typically bustling, we will dine in a lovely private dining room - more conducive to dinner conversation.
What is a progressive dinner? Progressive dinners offer a great opportunity to meet many different people. Men will switch seats (with help from our servers) between courses while the ladies stay seated.
There is space for only 30 dinner guests. Seating will initially be assigned by age group and gender. Although we make every attempt to have a good balance between men and women and ages, there is no guarantee it will be evenly balanced. Come with an open mind - you will certainly meet many new singles sharing the common interest of a love for food and travel.
